ABOUT THE COURSE
From our pristine greens to the views of shimmering Chicaugon Lake, golfing at Young’s 18-hole championship course is a truly special experience. Whether you’re planning an outing for a foursome, a party of twelve or a charity tournament, you can expect the same gracious service and attention to detail.
Between 2019 and 2020, Young’s golf course will undergo significant upgrades, overseen by the award-winning firm of Raymond Hearn Golf Course Design. Mr. Hearn and his team have designed and renovated courses throughout the United States, and as far away as Panama, South Korea, Canada, France, Egypt, India, Russia, and Viet Nam.
Our renovations will include:
- Mr. Hearn will redo the fairways and review every hole for design and playability.
- Our back nine will see the addition of three signature holes along the Lake, which will distinguish Young’s as one of Michigan’s premier courses.
- The front nine will have one hole removed, making it a true set of nine.
- Two large ponds will be added between holes one and nine and holes seventeen and eighteen, offering spectacular views from both the course and the clubhouse.
