The extensive renovation at Mistwood included updating bunkers, tees, fairways, greens, cart paths, and pond walls, along with tree clearing and drainage improvements. The result was a course transformation that earned Golf Magazine’s “Renovation of the Year” award.
The club’s late owner and founder, Jim McWethy, praised Raymond Hearn, saying, “He’s fun to work with—an absolute pleasure. His dedication and creativity made it feel like Mistwood was always at the top of his list.”
