The restoration of Metedeconk Golf Club, originally crafted by the legendary Robert Trent Jones Sr., was undertaken with a deep respect for the course’s original design philosophy. This meticulous project aimed to enhance the playability and aesthetics of the course, aligning it with the demands of the modern game. Key elements of the restoration included updating the bunkers and tees, strategic tree clearing, improving drainage, refining fairway layouts, and enhancing green runoff areas to ensure a challenging yet enjoyable experience for today’s golfers.
“Ray fully respected the legacy of Robert Trent Jones Sr. Strategy, shot value, and course aesthetics were all dramatically increased. The remodeled bunkers, tees and fairway limits really brought our aging golf course to life and enhanced fairway contours.”
