From the amicable bond with the Owners, to the panoramic view of Lake Templene from the clubhouse, through the successful single family housing development, every facet of Island Hills was a winner.

As for the golf course itself, well, let's just say that the Owners (The Templin Family) gave us a parcel of land that's a designer's dream.  With an abundance of great, natural holes present everywhere, our goal was to narrow down the number to the best possible eighteen.  We capitalized further on the natural terrain by creating four holes on one island, a feature like no other golf course in the Midwest!
